Fast Rides at London Farm

I was so saddened to hear of the passing of Tony. My memories of him go back to the 1980's. Back then I was just a young boy and my father and I would watch the TV show he co-hosted with Ted Laturnus. We both enjoyed their honest reviews of cars and their sometimes difference of opinions! That's what made it so great compared to other American TV car shows and magazines. Many years later when I moved to Vancouver, I got the chance to meet Tony at one of the car club events and I was so impressed with how approachable he was and made me feel like we knew each other for years. Later on, he hosted his own car gatherings in Richmond at London Farm and it was one of the most wonderful events I have attended. I looked forward to it each year and made sure to register right away when I received the invitation! Such a great time and I'll cherish those memories. Thank you for all of your dedicated work in the automotive journalism world and the local car club scenes. Rest in peace Tony.
